Product Description

The online near-infrared moisture detector (model: XKCON-NIR-MA-FV) produced by our company uses near-infrared spectroscopy (NIR) technology to detect the moisture content of the substance in the measured medium, which is an in-line, non-contact moisture analyzer.
1. How it works
This device is developed based on the principle that different components have different absorption characteristics of near-infrared light: water shows strong absorption characteristics for some specific wavelengths of infrared light, when these specific wavelengths of infrared light are irradiated to the material, the water contained in the material will absorb part of the energy of infrared light, and the more water it contains, the more it absorbs, so the reduction of reflected light can be measured to calculate the moisture of the material.
