Principle
Radar level meter antenna emits a very narrow microwave pulse, this pulse propagates in space at the speed of light, encountering the surface of the measured medium, part of its energy is reflected back and received by the same antenna. The time interval between the transmitted pulse and the received pulse is proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Due to the extremely high propagation speed of electromagnetic waves, the time interval between the transmitted and received pulses is very small (in the order of nanoseconds) and difficult to confirm. This series of radar level meter adopts a special correlation demodulation technology, which can accurately identify the time interval between the transmitted and received pulses, so as to further calculate the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.
Features
The radar level meter uses a transmitting frequency of up to 26 GHz and thus has:
1. Small wave speed angle, concentrated energy, with stronger anti-interference ability, greatly improving the measurement accuracy and reliability;
2. Small antenna size, easy to install and add dust cover and other antenna dustproof device;
3. Smaller measurement blind area, for small tank measurement will also achieve good results;
4. Shorter wavelength, more suitable for level measurement of small particles of material。
With advanced microprocessors and the unique EchoDiscovery echo processing technology, the radar level meter can be applied to a variety of complex working conditions.
Adopting pulse working mode, the radar level meter has extremely low emission power and can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers, which is harmless to human body and environment.
Applications in water-liquid storage tanks, acid and alkali storage tanks, slurry storage tanks, solid particles, oil storage tanks. All kinds of conductive, non-conductive media, corrosive media. Such as coal bin, ash bin, oil tank, acid tank, etc.
