EX series online near-infrared moisture detector (model: XKCON-NIR-MA-EX) produced by our company is an online moisture testing equipment with explosion-proof function, which has obtained the product explosion-proof certification certificate and can work for a long time in harsh environments. It supports compatibility with various control alarms, PLCs, DCS and other control systems, and realizes intelligent alarm and remote linkage control when the value exceeds the limit.
1. How it works
This device is developed based on the principle that different components have different absorption characteristics of near-infrared light: water shows strong absorption characteristics for some specific wavelengths of infrared light, when these specific wavelengths of infrared light are irradiated to the material, the water contained in the material will absorb part of the energy of infrared light, and the more water it contains, the more it absorbs, so the reduction of reflected light can be measured to calculate the moisture of the material.
